We are the team of RE/MAX Wealth Builders. Founded by Alex J Wilson, our goal is to maximize your wealth and minimize your stress. We believe that anyone can achieve generational wealth through the power of real estate investing. We are Wealth Builders.
HOW WE STARTED
Alex Wilson, owner and broker of record of Wealth Builders grew up in Sudbury, Ontario. In his early years, he noticed the uncertainty that came with traditional pension funds and retirement plans in his community. His parents discussed their concerns about retirement over the dinner table on many occasions. Alex realized early that by investing in real estate you could control your financial future much better than depending on a traditional retirement plan.
His Economics degree from Laurier awarded him a keen understanding of the fundamental principles of supply and demand, which he applies to his investing assessments.
Alex has been selling real estate in Toronto for over 15 years. In 2022 he was recognized as the number one RE/MAX agent in Canada for individual transactions. He has been inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award of the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award at 35 and entered the RE/MAX Circle Legends Award at 40.
Alex started Wealth Builders when he saw an opportunity to replicate his success with clients with a team of like-minded agents. The Wealth Builders are passionate about growing their clients’ real estate portfolios and achieving lasting, generational wealth.
While Toronto is the home base, Wealth Builders continue to invest in real estate across Canada. Most notably, in Calgary. Alex began the division of Why Buy Calgary in 2019.

Alex has been selling real estate in Toronto for over 15 years. In 2022 he was recognized as the number one RE/MAX agent in Canada for individual transactions. He is also number four for commissions in Canada and eleven for commissions worldwide for RE/MAX. As an individual, he was inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award of the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award at 35 and entered the RE/MAX Circle Legends Award at 40.

Kyle Dovigi
Hi, I’m Kyle.
Real Estate Associate at RE/MAX Wealth Builders, Why Buy Calgary and owner of Condo Millionaire.
Kyle joined the RE/MAX Wealth Builders team in 2018.

Niesh Dissanayake
Hi, I’m Niesh.
Real Estate Associate at RE/MAX Wealth Builders and founder of Wealth Builder Academy.
Niesh joined the Wealth Builders team in 2021.
In his first full year as an Agent, he was fortunate to help over 100 clients secure properties. This achievement was comprised of over 130 transactions, with nearly 100 of those sales being investment properties. Niesh has been inspired by the relationships he has created with his clients and is motivated by the large number of clients who have become repeat buyers and referees, which have enabled him to exceed $55,000,000 in sales in his first year!

Jeffrey
Hi, I'm Jeffrey.
Real Estate Salesperson at RE/MAX Wealth Builders and Founder of Calgary Condos VIP.
Jeffrey joined the team in 2024.
He started his real estate career from the bottom, as an assistant at a real estate firm in Toronto in 2020. He quickly went from an assistant to Property Manager and worked towards his license. In his first year as a Realtor, Jeffrey received the RE/MAX 100% Club Award, achieving expertise in all facets of Real Estate including Preconstruction, Assignments, Resale and Commercial property.
Jeffrey's philosophy in both life and real estate is the claim that "you'll never do a whole lot, unless you're brave enough to try".

Hi, I’m Alyssa.
Operations Manager at RE/MAX Wealth Builders and for Alex Wilson.
With a business degree in Hospitality, and over a decade of experience in the Real Estate industry, Alyssa brings an array of client-focused qualities to the Wealth Builders team.
As the team’s Client Care Specialist, Alyssa enjoys assisting our clients and team members and offering whatever she can to make their lives a little easier and happier.
Outside of the real estate world, she enjoys travelling and all things food and wine!

Laura Wilson
Hi, I’m Laura.
Laura is the VP of Integration; the grease that keeps the operations moving forward!
Laura joined RE/MAX Wealth Builders in 2019 and is a key driver in shaping the Wealth Builders team into what it is today!
Laura is passionate about real estate because she has witnessed firsthand that real estate can be transformational for individuals and families. Her gung gung (grandpa) came to Canada with nothing, opened a Chinese restaurant and invested his proceeds into real estate. This opened doors for his family and allowed them to pursue their own interests and dreams.

Jo Girma
Hi, I’m Jo.

Jo has extensive experience in the information technology and real estate services sector with a demonstrated track record of success in Pre-Construction Sales & Marketing.
Jo possesses a wide range of skills, including social media marketing, inside sales, e-commerce, advertising, and CRM strategy. He has been most notably recognized for his involvement in creating Canada's first personalized real estate app & building one of Toronto's largest pre-construction marketing platforms Urbancondo.
