Understand Usage, Allowances, and Overages
Some features include a monthly allowance and can have a configured overage path. The live usage and billing screens show the account’s current terms.
Where to find it: Admin → Billing and the relevant feature settings
What to do
- Open Billing and locate the relevant feature or add-on.
- Compare current usage with the included allowance.
- Review any overage budget, cap, or prepaid-credit setting shown.
- Check the feature’s detailed usage screen when available.
- Adjust activity or plan before a limit becomes urgent.
Good to know
- Allowances can be account-wide, per seat, or feature-specific; use the label shown.
- AI generation cost varies with the task and provider, so question count alone is not a reliable cost measure.
