Read a Contact Activity Timeline
The timeline brings together relevant site activity, messages, notes, tasks, appointments, and workflow events so you can follow the relationship in order.
Where to find it: Admin → Pipeline → Contacts → open a contact
What to do
- Start with the newest entries and look for the most recent meaningful action.
- Use event details to understand the page, campaign, form, or team action involved.
- Add a note when an offline conversation or decision would otherwise be missing.
- Create the next task directly from the contact when follow-up is needed.
Good to know
- Automated events and human notes serve different purposes; preserve both.
- A visitor may have activity before their identity becomes known.
